The Terre Du Lac Fire Department is an all volunteer department with a paid full time fire chief. The department operates out of two stations, covers approx 3300 residents, 1 river, 16 lakes, and 5200 acres.

 The department originated in the late 70's with 1 engine house and 1 truck. Terre Du Lac Fire/Rescue now operates out of 2 houses with a fleet of 1 rescue, 1 heavy rescue, 3 pumpers, a squad, and a brush truck.

The department roster includes:

Chief, 2 Asst. Chiefs, and a Lieutenant. We have a total of 14 members. All are certified with CPR and AED. Also included are 4 first responders, 3 EMT and 1 Paramedic.
